Abstract
Tema završnog rada su mjere sigurnosti i zaštita prilikom remonta nuklearnog reaktora. U prvom dijelu rada upoznajemo se sa pojmom nuklearne fizike, strukturom jezgre atoma, izotopima, stabilnosti atomskih jezgara, radioaktivnosti, nuklearnom energijom vezanja nukleona u jezgri i nuklearnim udarni presjekom. Zatim je objašnjeno prodiranje zračenja kroz materijale i važnost alfa, beta i gama čestica. Nakon toga je objašnjenja fisija i lančana reakcija. Zatim dolazimo do pojma nuklearnog reaktora i remonta nuklearnog reaktora i osobnih zaštitnih sredstava i opreme. U posljednjem djelu je objašnjeno djelovanje zračenja.
Abstract (english)
The topic of the final paper is safety measures and protection during the overhaul of a nuclear reactor. In the first part of the paper we are introduced to the concept of nuclear physics, atomic nucleus structure, isotopes, atomic nucleus stability, radioactivity, nuclear binding energy of nucleons in the nucleus and nuclear impact cross section. The penetration of radiation through materials and the importance of alpha, beta and gamma particles are then explained. This is followed by explanations of fission and chain reaction. Then we come to the notion of a nuclear reactor and the overhaul of a nuclear reactor and personal protective equipment. The last part explains the effect of radiation.
