Abstract
Ovaj rad opisuje šumske požare i požare raslinja, metode prevencije, protupožarne i sigurnosne mjere, te borbe protiv tih vrsta požara. Požari šuma predstavljaju veliku opasnost za šume u Republici Hrvatskoj, a naročito u Dalmaciji i na otocima. Pod požarom raslinja obuhvaćeni su požari svih vrsta raslinja od ostataka lišća, grana, trave, poljoprivrednih zemljišta, do zemljišta obraslog različitim vrstama drveća. Na razvoj požara raslinja i šumskih požara utječu meteorološki čimbenici, gorive tvari i topografski elementi zemljišta. U radu se analizira požar na području Crikvenice 2012. godine u kojem je opožareno oko 600 ha bjelogorične i borove šume, te niskog raslinja. Sudjelovalo je 345 vatrogasaca s 85 vozila te oko 100 pripadnika Hrvatske vojske. Smatra se jednim od najvećih požara u povijesti na području Crikvenice.
Abstract (english)
This final paper is about forest and vegetation fires, prevention methods, fire and safety measures. Forest fires are a great danger for the forests of the Republic of Croatia, especially in Dalmatia and on the islands. The vegetation fires include fires of all kinds of vegetation such as leaves, branches, grass, farmlands and land overgrown with different types of trees. Further, the meteorological factors, combustible material and topographic elements of the land affect the vegetation and forest fires. The final paper analyzes the fire in the area of Crikvenica in 2012. The burned area was about 600 ha of deciduous and pine forests, and low vegetation. In extinguishing fires participated 345 firefighters with 85 vehicles and about 100 members of the Croatian Army. It was one of the largest fires in history of Crikvenica.
