Abstract
Zaštita na radu postala je postulat svakog ozbiljnog poduzeća koje nastoji držati prije svega do sebe i do svojih radnika te njihova zdravlja. Međutim, zaštita na radu kao takva nije bila jednaka u povijesnim razdobljima kao što je to danas. Primjerice, prevencija ozljeda radnika na radnom mjestu danas i tijekom srednjeg vijeka nije bila jednaka.. Važno je naglasiti kako mnogi faktori mogu utjecati na zdravlje radnika i na njegovu/njenu radnu okolinu. Jedan od tih faktora jest i stres na radnom mjestu koje može imati čak i pogubno djelovanje na pojedinca te na poduzeće u cijelosti, kojemu se (stresu) nije pridavala velika pažnja u javnosti sve do početka novog milenija.
Abstract (english)
Work safety has become a postulate of every serious company that strives to keep, above all, true to itself and to its workers and their health. However, work safety as such has not been the same in historical periods as it is today, For example, the prevention of workers' injuries at the workplace today and during the Middle Ages was not equal. It is important to emphasize how various factors can affect a worker's health and his or her work environment. One of these factors is stress at the workplace, which can even have a devastating effect on the individual and the company as a whole, and which (stress) was not given much public attention until the beginning of the new milllenium.
