Abstract
Kroz završni rad se analiziraju geoprostorne značajke Irske, odnosno utjecaj geoprostornih značajki na razvoj gospodarstva, ekonomije i turizma Irske kroz povijest do danas. Irska kao najveći otok u Europi, jedno je od razvijenijih gospodarstava svijeta. Osim po svojim ekonomskoj stabilnosti, ističe se i stabilnim socijalnim, demografskim I obrazovnim okruženjem. Tijekom posljednjih trideset godina Irska je doživjela značajnu ekonomsku ekspanziju, te veliku krizu nakon koje je stabilizirala gospodarstvo i ponovno pokrenula rast i razvoj. Osim po razvijenosti, Irska je poznata kao zemlja brojnih specifičnosti koje su uglavnom odraz njezine atrakcijske osnove te komparativne prednosti, kao značajni dio prirodnih i kulturnih obilježja, ali i gospodarskog potencijala te mogućnosti.
Abstract (english)
The final thesis analyzes the geospatial features of Ireland, the impact of geospatial features on the development of the economy, economy and tourism of Ireland through history until present. Ireland, as the third largest island in Europe, is one of the most developed economies in the world. Apart from its economic stability, it also stands out with stable social, demographic and educational environment. Over the last thirty years, Ireland has experienced significant economic expansion, a major crisis after stabilizing the economy and restarting growth and development. In addition to its development, Ireland is known as a country of many specificities that are mainly a reflection of its attractive base and comparative advantages, as a significant part of natural and cultural features, but also the economic potential and opportunities.
