Abstract
Početkom 21. stoljeća razvija se svijest o važnosti očuvanja okoliša, pa tako i voda, ali taj proces traje i danas. Voda je najzastupljenija tvar u građi svih živih bića i obuhvaća najveći dio Zemljine površine, čak 70,8 % dok je 29,2 % kopno. Ubrzani rast i razvoj gradova i naselja, te povećanje stanovništva uvjetuju zagađenje čovjekove okoline a pritom i zagađenje vode, što je jedan od najtežih oblika zagađenja. Ubrzanim i povećanim razvojem povećava se i potrošnja vode što uzrokuje i porast količina otpadnih voda. Kako bi se taj problem što lakše riješio razvile su se brojne metode pročišćavanja otpadnih voda, a jedno od njih je i anaerobno koje je tema ovog rada.
Abstract (english)
The beginning of the 21 century saw the development of an awareness of the importance of preserving the environment, including water, but that process is ongoing. Water is the most common substance in the composition of all living beings and includes most of the Earth's surface, about 70.8% while 29.2% is land. Urbanization and the increasing number of the world's population, have led to the pollution of the environment, including the water, which is one of the severest forms of pollution. Accelerated development and increased consumption are the cause of the increase of waste waters. There are a lot of methods that help resolving the waste water problem, and one of them is the anaerobic method, which is the topic of this study.
