Abstract
Proces obrade otpadnih voda u farmaceutskoj industriji kao i svih otpadnih voda složen je kemijski, biološki i fizikalno-kemijski proces koji je bitan za cijelo čovječanstvo i održavanje života na planeti Zemlji. Unutar farmaceutske industrije je javno poznato da se stvara velika količina otpadnih voda koja se koristi za rashlađivanje strojeva u samim procesima stvaranja krajnjeg proizvoda, odnosno lijekova. Sam proces obrade otpadnih voda strogo je definiran zakonima i propisima, a jedan od glavnih je Zakon o zaštiti okoliša.
Abstract (english)
The process of wastewater treatment in the pharmaceutical industry as well as all wastewater is a complex chemical, biological and physico-chemical process that is essential for all mankind and maintaining life on planet Earth. Within the pharmaceutical industry it is commonly known that a large amount of wastewater is produced, and that water is used to cool the machines in the processes of creating the end product or drugs. The waste water treatment process itself is strictly defined by laws and regulations, and one of the major is environmental protection law.
