Abstract
Završni rad naslova „Zapaljive i piroforne tvari“obrađuje vrste zapaljivih i pirofornih tvari te opisuje kako dolazi do njihova zapaljenja i samozapaljenja, tj. koji uvjeti trebaju biti zadovoljeni kako bi došlo do izazivanja požara. Tekst je popraćen brojnim kemijskim reakcijama i tablicama u kojima se nalaze sažeti važni podatci. Kroz rad se saznaje na što treba obratiti pozornost kako ne bi indirektno uzrokovali požar, a da niste ni svjesni da ste to napravili svojom nepažnjom. Ponekad zbog nepažnje, ali i nerazmišljanja čovjek može stvoriti idealne uvjete za nastanak požara, što može dovesti do velikih šteta, a nažalost i velikog broja ljudskih žrtava. U nekim situacijama se može djelovati na vrijeme, ako su vidljivi neki pokazatelji požara (npr. dim, miris paljenja, itd.), a ponekad djelovanje nije moguće. U istraživačkom dijelu rada opisana je vatrogasna intervencija požara na Industriji nafte „INA“ gdje je požar izbio na plinskim bocama za kućanstvo.
Abstract (english)
The final work of the title " Flammable and Pyrophoric Substances" addresses the types of flammable and pyrophoric substances and describes how their inflammation and self- ignition occurs , and also, what conditions must be met in order to cause a fire. The text is accompanied by numerous chemical reactions and tables that summarize important data. Through the work, one learns what to look for so that they do not cause a fire indirectly without being even aware that you have done so by your negligence. Sometimes due to carelessness but also recklessness, one can create the ideal conditions for a fire to occur, which can lead to great damage and, unfortunately, a great number of human casualties. In some situations reaction may be timely, if some fire indicators are visible (eg. smoke, odor of ignition, etc.) and sometimes it is not possible to react. The research section describes the fire intervention of the INA Oil Industry, where a fire broke out on domestic gas cylinders.
