Abstract
Šumski požari su u priobalju Republike Hrvatske česta pojava tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, odnosno isti čine više od 80% vatrogasnih intervencija ljeti. Nerijetko su veliki i traju danima, te je za takve požare potrebno imati sustav interveniranja, što je i tema ovog rada. U prvom dijelu rada iznosi se pregled nastanka i bitnih čimbenika požara, dok je u drugom dijelu rada izvršen prikaz ustroja vatrogastva i sustava interveniranja pri gašenju šumskih požara u Republici Hrvatskoj. U okviru kritičkog razmatranja sustava interveniranja pri gašenju šumskih požara u radu je izvršen i osvrt na usporediva rješenja koja primjenjuju mediteranske zemlje.
Abstract (english)
Forest fires are common in the coast of the Republic of Croatia during the summer months, ie they account for more than 80% of firefighting interventions in the summer. They are often large and last for days, and for such fires it is necessary to have an intervention system, which is the topic of this paper. The first part of the paper provides an overview of the occurrence and important factors of fires, while the second part of the paper presents the structure of firefighting and intervention systems in extinguishing forest fires in the Republic of Croatia. As part of the critical consideration of the intervention system in extinguishing forest fires, a review of comparable solutions applied by Mediterranean countries was performed.
