Abstract
Globalizacija je prisutna u našoj svakodnevici te kao pojam ima svoje pobornike i protivnike. Njenom razvoju pomogle su međunarodne integracije ali i multinacionalne korporacije. Kao nositelji procesa globalizacije, multinacionalne korporacije imaju velik utjecaj na svijet i svjetsku ekonomiju. Utjecaj korporacija na globalizaciju ima svoje pozitivne i negativne strane. Za mnoge ljude multinacionalne korporacije predstavljaju ono loše što se događa u procesu globalizacije prvenstveno zbog njihove moći i želje za profitom. Iako je i danas cilj korporacija profit, njihov razvoj je ipak krenuo u nekom drugom smjeru te mnoge korporacije polako prihvaćaju društveno odgovorno poslovanje.
Abstract (english)
Globalization is part of our everyday life and as a concept has its supporters and opponents. International integrations and multinational corporations have been main drivers of the globalization. Multinational companies, as the one of globalization carriers did strongly influenced on the world and the world economy. The impact of corporations on globalization has its pros and cons. For many individuals, multinational corporations represent the bad that happens in the process of globalization mainly as of their power and profit desire. Although that main goal of corporations is profit, they started to drive business in a different direction where many of those are gradually introducing socially responsible concept.
