Quality management is an important part of every system within the company and has a positive effect on overall effectiveness. True dedication to quality, employee education, process control and improvement through preventive and corrective activities lead to complete quality management and company success. The introduction of the quality system begins with a description of the process, the necessary resources and accompanying documentation, certain responsibilities and recognized risks, opportunities, threats and weaknesses, but most often small companies are unable to start this process due to insufficient financial resources and insufficiently educated employees who would perform this work, so they in this case, the owners are forced to carry out these activities themselves and thus improve and improve their business. Given that the service industry is a small company, it has not introduced a quality management system according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, but the owner is well aware of the importance and role of such a certificate. With the aim of improving quality, our own standardized cleaning and maintenance procedures have been developed and they are the backbone of the quality management system. Given that the quality management system implies, among other things, focus on the customer and the continuous improvement of its own services, the Smartclean trade continuously conducts surveys of its own clients' satisfaction and the results of research of benefits for continuous improvement of the process. This master’s thesis will show the importance of implementing a quality management system within the Smartclean company, as well as the importance of the process of continuous service improvement, all in order to achieve high competitiveness and client satisfaction.
