Abstract
Porast međunarodne razmjene, konkurencije, porast ekonomske, kulturne i političke međuovisnosti zemalja, napredak u informacijskom i komunikacijama tehnološkom napretku, transportu, obilježja su suvremenog gospodarstva. Prisutnom globalizacijom brišu se granice koje su ranije priječile razmjenu međunarodnih razmjera i otvaraju se tržišta bez obzira na kulturološke, geografske i druge različitosti istih. Poslovni subjekti ulažu napore u pozicioniranju na nacionalnom, regionalnom i globalnom tržištu povećavajući svoju konkurentnost. Pri tome se kvaliteta koju očekuju potrošači prepoznaje kao poslovna filozofija i pragmatički pristup, te sredstvo kojim se može poboljšati konkurentnost. Menadžment, implementacijom menadžerskih funkcija, utječe na formiranje odrednica poslovanja i usmjeravanje poslovnih aktivnosti u smjeru postizanja kvalitete poslovanja.
Abstract (english)
The growth of international trade, competition, increase of the economic, cultural and political mutual dependence of countries, progress in information and communication system and transportation are characteristics of the modern economy. Globalization erased the borders that previously blocked the exchange of international proportions and markets are opening regardless of cultural, geographical and other diversity. Business subjects are making efforts to position itself on the national, regional and global markets, increasing its competitiveness. Thereby the quality that consumers expect is recognize as a business philosophy and pragmatic approach and as the way by which it can improve competitiveness. Management, by implementation of managerial functions, influences on the determinants of business and directing business activities towards achieving quality operations.
