Abstract
Završni rad obuhvaća 8 poglavlja koja pobliže obrađuju temu. Na samom početku rada su definirane turistčke agencije i njen pravni status i značaj, ukratko su objašnjeni zadaci, poslovi, vrste i funkcije turističkih agencija. Nakon toga se detaljno prikazuju turistički resursi i obilježja Irske, govori se o povijesnom razvoju turizma, prometnoj povezanosti, turističkoj ponudi zemlje i profilu tipičnog turista Irske. Pobliže se razrađuju poslovanja turističkih agencija Irske i njihove specifičnosti, govori se o povijesti njihova nastanka, zakonima na kojima se agencijska poslovanja temelje. Ističu se obilježja određenih najvećih, najstarijih i najuspješnijih incoming i outgoing turističkih agencija Irske. Na kraju se razrađuju statistički podaci vezani za turizam u Irskoj kroz nekoliko zadnjih godina, te zaključni dio rada sa razmatranjem na samu temu rada.
Abstract (english)
Final exam paper consists of 8 chapters that elaborate the topic more closely. At the very beginning of the paper tourist agencies are being defined, as well as their legal status and significance. Also, I try to explain tasks, jobs, types and functions of the tourist agencies. Afterwards, I bring out the tourist resources and characteristics of Ireland in detail. In addition, historical development of tourism, transport connections, tourist offer of the country and the profile of typical Irish tourist are being presented. Also important are businesses of the tourist agencies in Ireland and their features. The paper tries to indicate the history of their genesis and the laws on which the business activity is founded. Main characteristics of some of the most biggest, the oldest and the most successful incoming and outgoing tourist agencies in Ireland are being emphasised. Finally, I cover statistical data related to tourism in Ireland through several final years, and conclude with review of the topic of the paper.
