Abstract
U ovom radu opisana je povijest Javne vatrogasne postrojbe Opatija, od samih početaka do današnjeg dana kada slovimo kao jedna od manjih ali vrlo uspješnih postrojbi u širem okružju. Opisan je vozni park Javne vatrogasne postrojbe sa svim karakteristikama, te detaljno opisano navalno vozilo OP-2, te njegovo korištenje prilikom zahtjevnijih intervencija gašenja i spašavanja. Naposljetku će biti opisana i intervencija u kojoj sam sudjelovao s navalnim vozilom OP-2
Abstract (english)
In this paper it will be described the history of the public fire department of Opatija from the very beginning to this day as one of smaller but very successful unit in wider district. The description of the whole fleet of public Fire Department was given with all the characteristics and detailed description of fire engine was given and its use in more demanding disruption and rescue interventions. Finally, one intervention will be described in witch I participated in a fire engine.
