Abstract
Šumski požari ili požari otvorenog prostora su prirodne nepogode čija je česta pojava karakteristična za podneblje u kojem živimo. Vatrogasna preventiva i vatrogasna operativa su sigurnosne mjere koje omogućavaju brže sprječavanje i gašenje požara što rezultira manjom opožarenom površinom te spašavanjem šumskog ekosustava na području Republike Hrvatske. Vrlo bitne stavke požara otvorenog prostora su čimbenici koji utječu na nastanak požara te njegovo ponašanje prilikom gorenja na otvorenom prostoru. U ovom radu bit će prikazano kako dolazi do požara na otvorenom prostoru, kako se gase požari otvorenoga prostora te kako se može djelovati da bi se pokušao spriječiti nastanak požara. U završnom dijelu rada opisan je slučaj gašenja požara otvorenog prostora, napisan prema izvješću JVP-e Gračac i DVD-a Gračac.
Abstract (english)
Forest fires or open space fires are natural disasters, a common occurrence of which is characteristic of the climate in which we live. Fire prevention and fire operations are safety measures that enable faster prevention and extinguishing of fires resulting in less burned area and rescue of the forest ecosystem in the territory of the Republic of Croatia. Very important items of open space fire are the factors that influence the occurrence of a fire and its behavior when burning outdoors. In this paper, It will be shown how open-air fires occur, how open-air fires are extinguished, and how they can be acted upon to try to prevent fires. The final part of the paper describes the case of open space firefighting, written according to the report of JVP Gracac and DVD Gracac.
