Abstract
Rad razmatra proces izrade Plana upravljanja kulturno-povijesnom cjelinom kao strateškog i provedbenog dokumenta čiji je glavni strateški cilj zaštita i očuvanje kulturno-povijesne cjeline kao kulturnog dobra. Plan upravljanja dinamičan je instrument koji pravilno oblikovan omogućuje učinkovito upravljanje kulturno-povijesnom cjelinom te njen daljnji održiv gospodarski razvoj. Provedba plana upravljanja ključni je element očuvanja i zaštite kulturnog dobra. Proces izrade Plana upravljanja kulturno-povijesne cjeline razmatra se na primjeru pripreme i izrade Plana upravljanja kulturno-povijesnom cjelinom Zvijezde. Zvijezda je kulturno-povijesna cjelina grada Karlovca koja je zaštićeno kulturno dobro i njena revitalizacija je jedan od glavnih strateških ciljeva grada Karlovca.
Abstract (english)
This paper is concerned with the process of the making of the management plan of a historic urban area. The main goal of this strategic and executive document is to protect and preserve the area as a cultural heritage. The management plan is a dynamic instrument that, when properly formed, enables efficient management of the historic area and its sustainable economic development. The execution of the plan is the key element of the protection and preservation of cultural goods. The process of the making of the management plan is exemplified by the preparation and making of The Management Plan of Zvijezda Historic Area. Zvijezda (Star) is an urban historic area of the city of Karlovac, legally protected as a cultural heritage. Its revitalization is one of the primary strategic goals of the City of Karlovac.
