Abstract
Loše upravljanje razvojem turizma za sobom povlači brojne negativne posljedice, a jedna od njih jest i gubitak konkurentnosti i međunarodne tržišne pozicije. Grad Zagreb zauzima vrlo atraktivan prostor te je prepoznatljiv po staroj urbanoj jezgri i po manifestacijama koje se organiziraju tokom cijele godine. Iz tog razloga ima puni potencijal razvitka no zbog nedovoljnog promišljanja o sadržajima tijekom godine, postaje nekonkurentan. Rijeka Sava kao najveći potencijal i prirodni resurs grada Zagreba nije iskorištena u turističkom smislu. Tijekom godina provodili su se projekti na rijeci koji nisu urodili plodom. Ovim završnim radom na primjeru grada Zagreba i rijeke Save cilj je prikazati na koji način bi se pojas rijeke mogao iskoristiti za novi doživljaj grada.
Abstract (english)
Badly managed tourism entails a number of negative consequences, one of which is the loss of competitiveness and international market position. City of Zagreb occupies a very attractive space and is recognizable by the old urban core and the events that are organized throughout the year. For this reason, it has full development potential, but due to insufficient thinking about the contents during the year, it becomes uncompetitive. The Sava River, as the greatest potential and natural resource of the city of Zagreb, has not been used in terms of tourism. Over the years, projects have been carried out on the river that have not been implemented. With this final paper on the example of the city of Zagreb and the Sava River, the goal is to show how the riverside could be used for a new experience of the city.
