Abstract
Lijekovi su tvari ili smjese koje u određenim količinama, obliku i uvjetima primjene služe za liječenje bolesnika. Znanost koja se bavi proučavanjem porijekla, fizičkih i kemijskih osobina, sastava i djelovanja lijekova, sudbine u organizmu i eliminacije, te terapijske upotrebe lijeka naziva se farmakoloogija. Farmakologija se dijeli na: farmakokinetiku, farmodinamiku, farmakogenetiku, farmakoterapiju i kliničku farmakologiju. Cjepiva su vrste biološkog preparata koji pomaže stvaranju otpornosti prema nekoj bolesti. U cjepivu se u pravilu nalaze tvari koje predstavljaju neku bolest, a te tvari mogu biti: mrtvi mikroorganizmi koji uzrokuju neku bolest ili toksini.
Abstract (english)
Medicaments are substances or mixtures which, in certain amounts, form and conditions of use, serve to treat the patient. Science that deals with the study of origin, physical and chemical properties, drug composition and their effects, body fatigue and elimination, and terapeutic drug use is called pharmacology. Pharmacology is divided into: pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacogenetics, pharmocotherapy and clinical pharmacology. Vaccines are a type of biological preparation that helps to create resistance to some diseases. As a rule, the vaccine contains substances that present a disease and these substances can be dead microorganisms that cause a desease or toxins.
