Abstract
Investicijski fondovi u Republici Hrvatskoj čine manji dio financijskog tržišta u odnosu na banke, osiguravajuća društva i mirovinske fondove. Međutim, od svojih početaka do danas su u konstantnom usponu po iznosu imovine s kojom raspolažu i po broju i vrsti investicijskih fondova koja se nudi na tržištu. U ovom završnom radu je objašnjeno kako su nastali i koja je njihova svrha, zašto su sve više prepoznati kao ulaganje za budućnost i koje rizike nosi ova vrsta ulaganja. Također je napravljena usporedba i analiza pojedinih vrsta fondova te su izvučeni zaključci o njihovom poslovanju, najboljim i najlošijim periodima za ulaganje i nekim karakterističnim pojavama vezanim za ovu vrstu ulaganja.
Abstract (english)
Investment funds in Croatia are a smaller part of the financial market in relation to the banks, insurance companies and pension-funds. However, from its beginning up to today, they are on the constant rise concerning the amount of the assets which is on their desposal and concerning the number and the sorts of investment funds which are available on the market. This paper discusses the way they were founded, their purpose, why they are more and more recognized as an investment for the future as well as their risks. This paper also shows comparison and analysis of particular sorts of funds. It also presents conclusions about their transactions, their best and worst periods of investment and some characteristic phenomena for this sort of investment.
