Abstract
Požari na električnim vozilima predstavljaju izazov i veliku opasnost za vatrogasce, ponajviše zbog pogonskih električnih baterija koje su zahtjevne za gašenje. Kroz teoretski dio rada prikazati ću, uz općeniti dio o električnim vozilima, taktički nastup pri gašenju električnih vozila, suvremena sredstva za gašenje, kao i opasnosti s kojima se vatrogasci susreću prilikom ovakvih vrsta intervencija. Dok ću kroz praktični dio rada analizirati intervenciju požara električnog vozila koji se desio 01.04.2018. godine u mjestu Santa Clara, u SAD-u. Ovakva vrsta intervencija pokazala se dosta zahtjevnom i opasnom za vatrogasce. Kroz analizu su istaknuti snalažljivost, te opasnost i nedostatci koji se javljaju prilikom gašenja požara električnog vozila koje bi trebalo definirati i standardizirati
Abstract (english)
Electric vehicle fires are a challenge and a great danger for firefighters, mainly because of the electric batteries that are demanding to extinguish. Trough the theoretical part of paper, I will present, along with the general section on electric vehicles, the tactical appearance of extinguishing electric vehicles, the modern means of extinguishing, as well as the dangers that firefighters face on these types of interventions. While thought the practical part of the paper I will be analysing the fire intervention of an electric vehicle that happened on 01.04.2018. in Santa Clara, USA. This type of intervention has proven to be quite challenging and dangerous for firefighters. The analysis highlights the resourcefulness, the dangers and the deficiencies that occur when extinguishing an electric vehicle fire that should be defined and standardized.
