Abstract
U ovom radu se opisuje kulturni turizam i muzeji u funkciji razvoja turističke destinacije. Kroz završni rad fokus je stavljen na definiranje pojma kulturnog turizma, njegove važnosti te prikaza prednosti i nedostataka. Također, su prikazane neke od najpopularnijih zemalja za kulturni turizam te je opisan i kulturni turizam na području Republike Hrvatske. Nakon toga, fokus se prebacio na prikaz muzeja u funkciji razvoja turističke destinacije. Općenito je definiran pojma muzeja te je opisana važnost muzeja u kulturnom turizmu i razvoju turističke destinacije. Nakon teorijskog dijela, u radu je provedeno istraživanje pomoću anketnog upitnika s kojim se ispitalo znanje ispitanika o kulturnom turizmu i njihovi stavovi o važnosti muzeja za razvoj turističke destinacije. Nakon provedenog istraživanja, došlo se do rezultata kako su ispitanici pokazali odlično znanje o poznavanju kulturnog turizma te također smatraju da muzeji imaju veliku ulogu u promociji i razvoju turističke destinacije te kako će u budućnosti ta uloga biti još veća.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes cultural tourism and museums in order to develop a tourist destination. Through the final paper, the focus was placed on defining the concept of cultural tourism, its importance and the presentation of advantages and disadvantages. Also, some of the most popular countries for cultural tourism were presented and cultural tourism on the territory of the Republic of Croatia was described. After that, the focus was shifted to the museum's presentation as a function of tourism destination development. The term museums is generally defined and the importance of museums in cultural tourism and the development of tourist destinations is described. After the theoretical part, the survey was conducted using the questionnaire which examined the knowledge of the examinees on cultural tourism and their views on the importance of museums for the development of tourist destinations. After the survey, there were results that respondents showed excellent knowledge about the knowledge of cultural tourism and also believe that museums have a great role in the promotion and development of tourist destinations and that in the future this role will be even greater.
