Abstract
Ovim radom opisane su preventivne mjere zaštite od požara otvorenog prostora. Predložene su mjere poboljšanja učinkovitosti gašenja požara otvorenog prostora. Rečeno je što je to šumski požar i koji su njegovi tipovi. Opisana je osnova i ključ svakog uspješnog gašenja požara, vatrogasna taktika i odabir nastupa za pristup požaru,lokaliziranje i gašenje požara otvorenog prostora. Govorit će se o uređajima i opremi koja je neophodna za izvođenje uspješnog taktičkog nastupa. Predložit će se mjere za poboljšanje učinkovitosti gašenja požara otvorenog prostora.
Abstract (english)
SUMMARY This work describes preventive measures for fire protection in open spaces. Measures to improve the effectiveness of outdoor firefighing have been proposed. Description as to what a forest fire is and what its types are is provided. The basis and key to any successful firefighting are firefighting tactics, selection of approaches for fire suppression, localizing and extinguishing open space. We will discuss devices and equipment necessary to perform a successful tactical operation. Measures are proposed to improve the effectiveness of outdoor firefighting.
