The topic of this final assignment is the most frequent risks to the health of workers who are exposed to specific working environments of cold storage warehouses. It distinctly shows the basis of legislation, changes in the technical properties of the material for the work, the health risks to which workers are exposed and the impact of work organization, norms and standardization to the frequency of accidents at work. In order to minimize the risk to health care workers on occupational safety must be a systematic process that has to be implemented in all operating procedures. With this in mind safety at work starts at designing and planning of workspace, continues to organization of the work process and is subject to continuous control system and self-control through quality management systems. In research of the subjects I used the available literature, examples of good practice as well as direct access and research in the distribution centre. In conclusion it can be noted that different practices of standardization and optimization technology and work practices and procedures through its own methodology to define processes have a direct impact on the detection of the risk, reducing the frequency of work-related injuries while simultaneously increasing productivity.
