Abstract
U ovom završnom radu govorit ću o procesu fisije i njezinim učincima, te o povijesti i zanimljivom otkriću fisije. Pobliže ću objasniti nuklearne reaktore i njihov način rada te ću se dotaknuti vrsta reaktora i njegovih dijelova. Također, navesti ću i opisati nuklearne reaktore po generacijama. Uz definiciju nuklearnih nesreća, navedeni su primjeri prema INES ljestvici, te su pobliže objašnjeni postupci koje primjenjujemo kada se dogodi havarija. Dotaknuo sam se i segmenta ionizirajućeg zračenja te načina zaštite od istog.
Abstract (english)
In this final paper I will talk about the process of fission and its effects, as well as history and interesting discovery of fission. I will explain the nuclear reactors and the way they work, and I will talk about the types of reactors and its parts. Also, I will describe nuclear reactors by generations. With the definition of nuclear accidents, examples are given according to INES scale with detailed procedures we have to apply when an accident occurs. I also described ionizing radiation and ways of protecting yourself from it.
