Abstract
Voda, more i oceani imaju neprocjenjivo ekološko značenje. Zaštita i očuvanje kvaliteta voda, mora i oceana važna su ne samo za životinjski i biljni svijet, nego i za samog čovjeka te za njegov gospodarski i socijalni razvoj. U ovome radu ćemo govoriti o zagađenju morskog okoliša te koje su posljedice takvog onečišćenja. Obuhvaćen je pregled izvora onečišćenja mora, te su spomenute bitne konvencije koje su donijete kroz povijest vezano za onečišćenje morskog okoliša. Nadalje, objašnjeni su izvori onečišćenja mora s kopna, s brodova, iz zraka ili putem zraka. Također je opisano onečišćenje nastalo ljudskim djelovanjem, gdje ćemo se posebno bazirati na plastiku te Jadransko more.
Abstract (english)
Water, sea and oceans have invaluable ecological significance. The protection and preservation of the quality of water, sea and oceans are important not only for the fauna and flora, but also for his economic and social development.In this paper, we will talk about the pollution of the marine environment and what are the consequences of such pollution. An overview of the sources of marine pollution is included and the important conventions that have been passed through out history regarding the pollution of the marine. Furthermore, the sources of marine pollution from land, ships, air or by air are explained. Pollution caused by human activity is also described, where the emphasis is on plastic and the Adriatic Sea.
