Abstract
Tema ovog završnog rada je „Svojstva i primjena biokompatibilnih materijala“. U teorijskom dijelu opisani su polimerni materijali s naglaskom na biopolimere i biokompatibilne materijale. Također se govori o postanku polimera, njihovom razvoju te se opisuju njihova struktura i obilježja. Na kraju teorijskog dijela rada opisani su: primjena biopolimera u dentalnoj medicini i kirurgiji, materijali koji se koriste te njihove prednosti i nedostaci. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada detaljnije je opisan ispitivani materijal te oprema korištena u ispitivanju. Opisane su dimenzije standardne epruvete te ukratko objašnjen statički vlačni pokus. Prikazani su izračuni vlačne čvrstoće, produljenja te standardne devijacije i modula elastičnosti. U analizi rezultata opisani su rezultati ispitivanja te je iznesen zaključak. U prilogu su priložena izvješća o ispitivanju materijala te Hookovi dijagrami svih uzoraka.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this paper is 'Properties and application of biocompatible materials'. In the theoretical part, polymeric materials are described, with emphasis on biopolymers and biopolymeric materials. Polymer formation and their development is mentioned and their structure and features are described. At the later sections of the theoretical part, the application of biopolymers in dental and surgical medicine is described, with mentions of used materials and their advantages and shortcomings. In the experimental part of the paper, examined material and equipment used in testing are explained in more detail. The dimensions of test examples are listed and the static tensile test is described. Tensile strength calculation, extension, standard deviation and module of elasticity are all shown. The result analysis lists the results of the experiment and draws a conclusion. Test reports and Hooke diagrams for all samples are attached.
