Abstract
Ključnu ulogu u razvoju turizma općine Vrbovsko imaju prirodni i antropogeni resursi. Tu doprinosi i jako dobra prometna povezanost, shodno tome da se grad nalazi u gorskoj Hrvatskoj – na pola puta između središnje i primorske Hrvatske. To olakšava dolazak turista, pogotovo onih koji putuju starom riječkom cestom, a uputili su se u Primorje. Turizam u gorskoj Hrvatskoj je u sjeni turizma primorske Hrvatske zbog toga što se naglasak u Republici Hrvatskoj stavlja na more, a ne na prirodne ljepote gorja i planina. Grad Vrbovsko, ali i Gorski kotar imaju snažne potencijale za još bolji razvitak turizma. Turisti su željni atraktivnih sadržaja kojih nedostaje na tom području. Jedan od atraktivnih sadržaja mogu biti domaće kulinarske delicije poput poznate štrudle. Ista se može ponuditi turistima tijekom dolaska u privatni ili neki drugi oblik smještaja. Analiza turizma Grada Vrbovskog ukazala je na to postojeći negativni trend dolazaka i noćenja turista u zadnjih dvije godine, dok je anketno istraživanje ukazalo na potrebu za pojačanom gastronomskom ponudom u cilju privlačenja turista.
Abstract (english)
Natural and anthropogenic resources have a key role to play in the development of tourism. It also contributes to a very good traffic link, as the city is located in Croatia - halfway between central and coastal Croatia. This facilitates the arrival of tourists, especially those who travel on the old river road, and they are headed to Primorje. Tourism in Croatia is in the shadow of tourism in Croatia because the emphasis in the Republic of Croatia is placed on the sea, not the natural beauties of the mountains and mountains. The city is Vrbovsko, but Gorski kotar also has strong potential for improving the development of tourism. Tourists are eager for attractive content that is lacking in this area. One of the attractive contents can be domestic culinary delicacies, such as the famous strudel. The same can be offered to tourists during their arrival in a private or other form of accommodation. The analysis of the tourism of the City of Vrbovsko pointed to this existing negative trend of arrivals and notations of tourists in the last two years, while the survey pointed to the need for enhanced gastronomic offer to attract tourists.
