Abstract
Krizni menadžment, kao intergrativni dio svakodnevnog upravljanja poslovanjem treba biti kontinuirani proces vođen promjenjivim okruženjem. Njegova važnost je evidentna u specifičnim slučajevima kao što je pandemija bolesti COVID-19. Umjesto kratkoročnih intervencija u vrijeme krize, kontinuirani dugoročni krizni menadžment treba biti uspostavljen te prepoznati krizu kao pokretača samog procesa obnove poslovnog sustava. Dok izvori nekih kriza mogu biti u prošlim odlukama, neke pak krize mogu biti uzrokovane rizicima koji se nalaze u neposrednoj okolini poduzeća. Analiza uzroka određenih kriza je od presudne važnosti, jer identificira područja (procese, zbivanja, događaje) čiji učinci moraju biti minimizirani. U ovom radu će se istražiti dosadašnja istraživanja na temu kriznog menadžmenta u hotelijerstvu tijekom pandemije bolesti COVID-19.
Abstract (english)
Crisis management, as an integral part of managing every business entity should be an ongoing process driven by a dynamic environment. Its importance is evident in particular in circumstances such as Covid-19 pandemic. Instead of short-term interventions in time of crisis, ongoing crisis management ought to be established and crisis acknowleged as a driver for renewal of business entity itself. While sources of some crises could be stemming from the past decisions, other crisis can be caused by the risks stemming from an environment itself of business entity. An analysis of causes of certain conditions is of utmost importance, for it identifies areas (such as processes, phenomena, events), which effects must be minimized. The aim of this paper is to review the literature on the topic of crisis management in the hotel industry with special focus on the time frame of the Covid-19 pandemics.
