Abstract
Prilikom zračenja kroz neku materiju dolazi do zajedničkog međudjelovanja, a za posljedicu imaju mijenjanje svojstava samog zračenja. Zračenje je definirano kao postupak u kojem energetski valovi prolaze kroz vakuum. Tako postoje različite vrste zračenja, a u ovom radu objašnjene su tri vrste, i to termičko, rendgensko i ultraljubičasto zračenje. Općenito zračenje grupirali smo u dvije skupine, a to su ionizirajuće i neionizirajuće zračenje. Rendgensko zračenje spada u skupinu ionizirajućeg zračenja, dok ultraljubičasto i termičko zračenje pripadaju neionizirajućem zračenju. Oba zračenja treba koristiti oprezno, savjesno ali i profesionalno, a treba voditi računa o boljoj zaštiti svih izloženih osoba.
Abstract (english)
When radiation through a substance, there is a joint interaction, and as a result they change the properties of the radiation itself. Radiation is defined as the process in which energy waves pass through a vacuum. Thus, there are different types of radiation, and in this paper, three types are explained, namely thermal, X-ray and ultraviolet radiation. In general, we grouped radiation into two groups, namely ionizing and nonionizing radiation. X-rays belong to the group of ionizing radiation, while ultraviolet and thermal radiation belong to non-ionizing radiation. Both radiations should be used carefully, conscientiously but also professionally, and care should be taken to better protect all exposed persons.
