Abstract
Zbog učestalog rasta stanovništva i širenja industrije povećana je potrošnja vode pa samim time i njena onečišćenost. Upravo radi toga sve je važnija izgradnja uređaja za pročišćavanje otpadnih voda, jer tolika količina onečišćene otpadne vode nekontrolirano otpuštene u prirodu može znatno kompromitirati biljni i životinjski svijet kao i život ljudi. Nadalje, onečišćena otpadna voda može površinskim otjecanjem ili pak prodiranjem u zemljinu koru onečistiti druge prirodne površinske ili podzemne vode. Također je važno poznavati vrstu i sastav otpadne vode kako bi se mogao primijeniti odgovarajući proces pročišćavanja i kako bi učinak bio što bolji. U ovom završnom radu bit će objašnjen pojam otpadnih voda i njihova klasifikacija, sistem pročišćavanja otpadnih voda u gradu Zagrebu te opis uređaja u pojedinoj fazi pročišćavanja. Nadalje, opisat će se upućenost građana o problematici otpadnih voda te će se priložiti dijagrami s rezultatima dobivenih ispitivanjem.
Abstract (english)
Due to frequent population growth and industry expansion, water consumption is increased and thus the release of the same. Because of these reasons it is becoming more important to construct plants for treatment of waste water because that amount of polluted wastewater discharged uncontrollably into nature can significantly compromise the wildlife as well as people's lives. Furthermore, polluted waste water can surface runoff or penetrate the earth's crust and contaminate other natural surface or ground water. It is also important to know the type and composition of the waste water to be able to apply the appropriate treatment process and to achieve a better result. In this final work the concept of waste water will be explained and also the classification system of its treatment in the city of Zagreb. A description of the devices in each stage of purification will also be provided. In addition, there will be a description of awareness of citizens on the issue of waste water and it will be accompanied by diagrams with the results obtained by testing.
