This paper is divided into four important segments through which I explained the conduct of civil protection and its important role in the Republic of Croatia, and thus the way to protect the population and prevent the spread of Coronavirus.Through the first part, I explained and processed the meaning and role of civil protection in the Republic of Croatia and the principles of dealing with disasters and accidents that affect and endanger a larger number of citizens. In addition, there are measures and activities aimed at preventing, preventing and informing citizens who are threatened or could be threatened by danger, ie providing timely information.In the second part, I explained the basic concepts relatedto the pandemic "SARS-CoV-2 or Coronavirus -COVID-19". The method of transmission and spread of the virus, as well as the procedure of testing persons suspected of being in direct contact with a person infected with coronavirus or if they have symptoms suggestive of the possibility of the disease, are discussed. We will also mention the virtual way of unification and joint encouragement and encouragement during a pandemic.In the third part, I elaborated preventive measures of civil protection before the outbreak of coronavirus in the Republic of Croatia, the formation, ie appointment of members of civil protection headquarters due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the occurrence of the first case in the Republic of Croatia.The fourth part of this paper deals with the measures of the Decision of the Civil Protection Headquarters in order to prevent and reduce the spread of COVID-19 until the end of phase 3 in the first "wave", ie the encounter with the COVID-19 pandemic.
