Abstract
Završni rad opisuje primjenu preventivnih mjera zaštite od požara za zaštitu spremnika u naftnoj industriji te vatrogasnu taktiku u slučaju požara. Nafta je jedan od najvažnijih energetskih resursa te je potražnja za njom velika. Stoga postoje i mnoga skladišta koja su izgrađena za skladištenje nafte i naftnih derivata i njihov daljnji transport. U radu se općenito govori o gorenju i gašenju, s posebnim osvrtom na gorenje zapaljivih tekućina te sredstvima koja se koriste za gašenje. Također, opisuje veliku ulogu stabilnih sustava u zaštiti od požara, a posebice drencher stabilnih sustava koji se često primjenjuju u skladištima nafte i naftnih derivata. Opisane su i vrste spremnika koje se koriste za skladištenje nafte i njezinih derivata te različite izvedbe stabilnih sustava za gašenje istih. Analizom i statistikom nesreća koje su se dogodile u prošlosti utvrđeni su nedostaci i propusti koji nam mogu pomoći u budućnosti. Kao primjer skladišta naftnih derivata detaljno je opisan Janafov prihvatno otpremni terminal Žitnjak.
Abstract (english)
The final work describes the application of preventive fire protection measures used to protect storage tanks in the petroleum industry and firefighting tactics in the case of fire. Oil is one of the most important energy resources and consequently, there is a big demand for it. Therefore, many oil depots were built for the storage and further transport of oil and oil products. This final work generally deals with fire and fire extinguishing, with special reference to the combustion of flammable liquids and extinguishing agents. It also discusses the significant role of stable fire protection systems, especially drencher systems which are used in oil terminals. Further on, it describes the type of storage tanks used for oil and petroleum products storage, as well as various versions of the fire protection stable systems. The accident analysis and statistics of the accidents that have occurred in the past have identified imperfections and failures which can be helpful in the future. As an example of oil derivatives depot, this final paper describes reception and forwarding terminal of Janaf Žitnjak.
