Abstract
Tema završnog rada je primijena kompozitnih materijala u izradi krila za hydrofoil. Hydrofoil je krilo koje je pričvršćeno za neko plovilo. Ono je uronjeno u vodu i pri određenoj brzini podiže trup iz vode, tako smanjuje otpor i povećava brzinu plovila jer samo krilo ostaje u vodi. Rad opisuje kratku povijest, razvoj, princip rada i namijenu hydrofoila. Također su opisani materijali i tehnologije koji su korišteni u praktičnom dijelu rada. Rad uključuje ispis modela krila na 3D printeru i ojačanje ispisanog modela sa staklenim vlaknima i epoksi smolom.
Abstract (english)
The topic of the final work is the application of composite materials in the manufacture of hydrofoil wings. A hydrofoil is a wing that is attached to some kind of vassel. It is immersed in water and at a certain speed lifts the hull out of the water, thus reducing the resistance and increasing the speed of the vessel because only the wing remains in the water. The topic of the final work describes a brief history, development, principle of operation and purpose of hydrofoils. It will be also described the materials and technology used in the practical part of the work. The work includes printing the stencil matrix on a 3D printer and matrix reinforcement with composite material.
