Abstract
Upotrebljavanjem vode iz vodoopskrbnih sustava za različite svrhe dolazi do promjena njezinih kemijskih, fizikalnih i bioloških svojstava te dolazi do nastanka otpadnih voda. Otpadne vode potrebno je na prikladan način pročistiti i odvesti u prijemnik bez štetnih posljedica za okoliš. U prehrambenoj industriji otpadne vode se nakon pročišćavanja dalje obrađuju biološkim postupkom. U ovom završnom radu su iznijeti podaci o količini, vrsti i stupnju zagađenosti otpadnih voda i njihov štetan utjecaj na proizvodnju i preradu mesa. Utvrđeno je da je količina otpadnih voda velika zbog neracionalne potrošnje vode, a stupanj njihove zagađenosti velik zbog toga što se mjere za sprečavanje njihova zagađenja ne provode u dovoljnoj mjeri.
Abstract (english)
The use of water from water supply systems for different purposes changes its chemical, physical and biological properties, which causes the formation of waste water. Waste water must be properly purified and delivered to the receiver without negative consequences for the environment. In the food industry, after purifying waste water is further processed by biological process. This final paper presents data on the amount, type and degree of waste water pollution and their adverse effects on the production and processing of meat. It was found that the amount of waste water is large due to irrational consumption, and that also the degree of their contamination is large because the measures for preventing their pollution are not conducted sufficiently.
