Abstract
U diplomskom radu opisuju se sredstva za gašenje i mjere zaštite od požara te potencijalne opasnosti od eksplozije na benzinskoj postaji. U prostoru koji je ugrožen zapaljivim tekućinama i eksplozivnom atmosferom bitno je odrediti zone opasnosti koje zahtijevaju posebne mjere prilikom konstrukcije, ugradnje i uporabe električnih uređaja, koje se prema propisima o protueksplozijskoj zaštiti dijele na zonu 0, zonu 1 i zonu 2. Kako bi sva oprema na benzinskoj postaji bila ispravna i sigurna pri radu, moraju se redovito provoditi tehnička ispitivanja. Potreba za visokom razinom sigurnosti odražava se zbog mogućnosti požara i eksplozija kao posljedice ljudske nepažnje, kvarova i oštećenja na motoru ili njegovim dijelovima gdje može doći do kratkog spoja, mehaničkih iskri, preopterećenja motora, statičkog elektriciteta, udara groma itd. Uz potrebne tehničke mjere zaštite na benzinskoj postaji ključno je educirati i osposobiti zaposlenike za rad na siguran način te početno gašenje požara kako bi svi zaposlenici bili upoznati sa opasnostima na radnom mjestu i osposobljeni ispravno postupiti u slučaju neželjenih izvanrednih situacija.
Abstract (english)
The final paper describes fire extinguishing agents and fire protection measures, as well as the potential danger of an explosion at the gas station. In a space that is threatened by flammable liquids and an explosive atmosphere, it is important to determine the danger zone that requires special measures during the construction, installation and use of electrical devices, which according to the regulations on anti-explosion protection are divided into zone 0, zone 1 and zone 2. In order for all equipment at the gas station was correct and safe during operation, technical tests must be carried out regularly. The need for a high level of safety is reflected by the possibility of fires and explosions as a result of human carelessness, breakdowns and damage to the motor or its parts where there may be a short circuit, mechanical sparks, motor overload, static electricity, thunderstroke, etc. With the necessary technical protection measures at the gas station it is essential to educate and train employees to work in a safe manner and initial fire extinguishing so that all employees are aware of the dangers in the workplace and are trained to act correctly in the event of unwanted emergency situations.
