This paper explores the importance of integrating technical security systems in the context of enhancing safety and raising awareness about the importance of security both in work and in life in general. The aim of the paper is to investigate how the integration of different technical security systems can enhance safety compared to using separate technical systems. Integration results in synergy for the benefit of the end user. Through a literature review and practical information gathered, along with the analysis of relevant data, key advantages and challenges of integrating technical security systems are identified. Special emphasis is placed on identifying the most effective methods for system integration, as well as on industry practice examples with mandatory compliance with legal regulations. It is necessary to emphasize that although the human factor in the development of technical security systems is reduced, this factor remains crucial due to the constant need for proper system usage and the need to avoid system misuse. The information gathered and presented in this paper provide insight into the potential benefits of integrating technical security systems and also the direction of security policy at the global level. Security and protection are fundamental prerequisites for the development of industry and society in general, and it is necessary to constantly invest resources and efforts in the development of security in both technical and other domains.
