Abstract
Završni rad sastoji se od dva dijela: teorijskog i eksperimentalnog. U teorijskom dijelu opisane su vrste kompozitnih materijala, s posebnim naglaskom na kompozite ojačane vlaknima. Također su prikazane tehnologije izrade kompozita te kriteriji popuštanja kompozitnih materijala. U eksperimentalnom dijelu opisana je izrada kompozita s dvokomponentnom epoksidnom smolom kao matricom te staklenim vlaknima kao ojačanjem. Budući da je glavni cilj ispitati izdržljivost tankostjenih kompozitnih cijevi ovisno o orijentaciji vlakana, izrađene su dvije vrste uzoraka: 0/90° i +/-45°. Nakon izrade, uzorci su podvrgnuti mjerenju kako bi se odredila čvrstoća tankostjenih cijevi te stabilnost poprečnog presjeka. Izvršena su ispitivanja za uvijanje i savijanje u tri točke kako bi se procijenila otpornost cijevi na savijanje i uvijanje u odnosu na orijentaciju vlakana u kompozitu.
Abstract (english)
The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and experimental. The theoretical section describes the types of composite materials, with a focus on fiber-reinforced composites. It also covers composite manufacturing technologies and the criteria for the failure of composite materials. The experimental section details the fabrication of composites using a two- component epoxy resin as the matrix and glass fibers as the reinforcement. Since the primary objective is to evaluate the durability of thin-walled composite tubes based on fiber orientation, two types of specimens were produced: 0/90° and +/-45°. After fabrication, the specimens were subjected to measurements to determine the strength of the thin-walled tubes and the stability of the cross-section. Tests for twisting and three- point bending were conducted to assess the tubes resistance to bending and twisting in relation to fiber orientation in the composite materials.
