Abstract
Porastom ekološke osviještenosti sve se više pridaje značaja održivoj gradnji koja podrazumijeva korištenje prirodnih materijala za gradnju, ali i brizi o sigurnosti, energetskoj učinkovitosti i koristi obnovljive izvore energije za funkcioniranje objekata. U ovom je radu stoga analizirana gradnja kuća od slame, kao jednog od primjera održive gradnje. Obzirom da se radi o građevinskom materijalu koji spada u klasu B2 - normalno zapaljivi materijali, bilo je nužno utvrditi i opisati postupak vatrogasne intervencije te korištenja vatrogasnih uređaja i opreme pri gašenju požara u kući od slame. Ujedno, za bolje razumijevanje same konstrukcije, u radu se detaljno opisao postupak izrade zidova od balirane slame, te način žbukanja. Naime, pokazalo se da zidovi zatvoreni žbukom iznutra i izvana imaju vrlo dobru vatrootpornost. Građevine od slame stoga se mogu smatrati istovremeno održivima i sigurnima od požara uz primjenu svih zaštitnih mjera.
Abstract (english)
Increase of ecological awareness leads to high significance of the sustainable building. It implies using the natural materials for the construction, and also care about safety, energy efficiency and using renewable energy sources for the operation of facilities. Therefore, construction of a straw house, as an example of sustainable building, has been analysed in this paper. Considering it is about a construction material which is classified as B2 - normally flammable materials, it was necessary to determine and describe the procedure of fire intervention and usage of fire-fighting equipment in the house of straw. Also, for a better understanding of the construction, the paper described the process of making the walls of baled straw and the method of the plastering detail. Specifically, it was shown that walls closed with plaster from the inside and from the outside have a very good fire resistance. Therefore, buildings of straw bales, applying the protective measures, can be considered as a safe from fire and sustainable at the same time.
