The subject of this final work is a description of the organization of the implementation of occupational safety in forestry, use of personal protective equipment when performing logging operations, making and attracting wood assortments as well as their transportation. The importance of implementing occupational safety is to prevent injury, occupational and other illnesses, and this is primarily achieved by identifying and eliminating the dangers that may lead to them in certain circumstances. This work presents the procedures for calculating norms and normatives when performing forest management activities in the area of Forest Management of Gospic Branch, Gospic Forestry. Recorded data at a particular site were processed, technical standards were determined and their execution was monitored. The influence of external factors is emphasized, or working conditions when calculating and implementing the established standard. The application of the established standards is evident in the Worksite Study which, after the visiting of the terrain, is made for forestry and logging, production and attracting wood products.
