Abstract
Ovaj rad razrađuje ponašanje građevinskih i konstrukcijskih materijala u uvjetima požara, prikazuje razvoj i stadije požara te opisuje čimbenike koji utječu na brzinu širenja požara unutar građevina kroz analizu toplinskih svojstava materijala. Obrađeno je i svojstvo vatrootpornosti materijala te metode poboljšanja svojstva vatrootpornosti. Navedena je i klasifikacija građevinskih materijala i konstrukcija u požaru, a opisane su i specifičnosti ponašanja najčešće korištenih materijala u uvjetima požara. Komparativnom analizom ponašanja materijala u uvjetima požara izdvojene su značajke ponašanja koje su kod nekih materijala slične. Opisano je i područje požarnog inženjerstva. Na samom kraju rada navedena je važnost pasivne, ali i aktivne protupožarne zaštite.
Abstract (english)
This paper elaborates the behaviour of building and construction materials in fire conditions. It shows development and stages of fire and describes factors that affects the rate of spread of fire inside buildings through the analysis of thermal properties of materials. The fire resistance property of material and methods of improving fire resistance property are also discussed. Building and construction materials classification is stated too, together with described specifics of behaviour of the most commonly used materials in fire conditions. The comparative analysis was performed on the behaviour of materials in fire conditions, highlighting significant behaviours that are similar at some materials. Fire engineering scientific field is also described. At the very end, the importance of passive and active fire protection is pointed out.
