Abstract
Biomasa je obnovljivi izvor energije koji ima veliki potencijal. Tehnološki procesi pretvorbe kemijske energije pohranjene u biomasi u druge oblike energije prikladne za korištenje omogućavaju zamjenu fosilnih goriva puno prihvatljivijim izvorom energije te smanjuju ovisnost korisnika o fosilnim gorivima. Glavni element u procesu rasplinjavanja biomase su rasplinjači unutar reaktora koji omogućavaju stvaranje plina. Ovaj završni rad istražuje glavna svojstva biomase, karakteristike procesa rasplinjavanja, prednosti i nedostatke pojedinih vrsta rasplinjača te načina na koje je moguće dobiti energiju iz biomase.
Abstract (english)
Biomass is a renewable energy source that has great potential. Technological processes of conversion of chemical energy stored in biomass to other energy forms suitable for use in order to replace fossil fuels is much more acceptable source of energy and reduces dependence on fossil fuels. The main element in the process of gasification of biomass are carburettors inside reactors that enable creation of gases. This final paper examines the main features of biomass gasification characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of particular types of gasifiers and ways to produce energy from biomass.
