Abstract
Otkad postoji planet Zemlja, Sunce je zaslužno za sve procese koji su se odvijali na njemu. Od brojnih vremenskih i prirodnih uvjeta pa do nastanka prvih biljaka, životinja, potom i ljudi. Ono nam daje ogromnu količinu energije koju čovječanstvo ne može potrošiti, a usto je i obnovljiva. U svijetu velike potražnje za energijom potrebno je usmjeriti pažnju upravo na obnovljive izvore energije, koliko zbog njenog velikog potencijala, toliko i zbog ekološkog značaja. U ovom radu osvrnut ćemo se na energiju Sunca i njeno, još uvijek maleno, iskorištenje. Također ćemo ukazati na ekološku tehnologiju, ponajprije automobila, od njenih početaka do danas, u svrhu smanjenja emisije stakleničkih plinova i samim time očuvanja okoliša.
Abstract (english)
Since the begging of planet Earth, the Sun is a main iniciator of every process occured on the planet. Starting with many weather and nature conditions until the creation of first plants, animals and then even humans. It's giving us enormous quantity of energy which mankind is not able of spending it all, and besides it's renewable. In a world of high energy demand it is necessary to focus precisely on alternative energy sources, not only because of its great potential, but also for its environmental concern. In this thesis we will look back on the energy of the Sun and it's utilization, which is still at very low level. We will also indicate on environmental technologies, primarily cars from the beginning until today, in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and saving the environment as well.
