Abstract
Otpad predstavlja sve veći problem u današnjem potrošačkom društvu.Bilo da se on gomila, razlaže u podzemnim vodama ili spaljivanjem širi atmosferom. Stoga je u svim dijelovim svijeta krenula utrka za stvaranjem čišćeg okoliša pri čemu se otpad smatra resursom a njegova obrada spada u najnaprednije tehnologije. U ovom radu je objašnjen otpad prema svojstvima i mjestu nastanka, općenito komunalni otpad. Gospodarenje otpadom, obrada otpada i odlaganje otpada.
Abstract (english)
The waste is a growing problem in today s consumer society.Whether you are it is on a pile, broke down in groundwater or is burnt spreading in the atmosphere, waste seriously endanger the environment and human health. Therefore, in all parts of the world started a race to create a cleaner environment in which the waste is considered a resource and its treatment is one of the most advanced technology. The paper explains the waste according to properties and place of origin, in general municipal waste. Waste management, waste treatment and wastedisposal.
