Solar collectors are an increasingly common choice in solar power plants and on the roofs of single-family homes due to their many benefits. Their high concentrated energy and low surface area of collector units give them a big advantage over solar photo-voltage panels. By analyzing the various collector systems in which the main working medium is fluid, the differences between the individual systems, advantages, characteristics and the principle of operation of each system are determined. Concentrated solar systems are described in detail and a table on page 26. has been created comparing all the parameters of these systems and giving an overview of the most efficient system. A solar collector system for a single-family home is also described, where the focus is on reviewing the parameters for a family home with a four-member family, as well as how to select hot-plate solar collectors in relation to the available sunshine at the location of the facility. The difference in savings on CO2 reduction and the repayment period of the entire system were also calculated. The system is sized with a required collector area of 3.90 m² and a 400 l hot water tank.
