Through the process of writing the final thesis, going through some general measures and regulations of occupational safety in warehouse facilities and their operations (in this case, Zagrebačka Pivovara was taken as an example), I explain how important it is that all aspects that include occupational safety are of explicit importance for the entire operating system, because if someone makes a mistake or if there is a risk of danger somewhere and it has not been removed or at least ensured for working in a safe way in storage facilities, there is a great possibility of fatal consequences which, in a broader picture, greatly complicates the work of all departments, including the occupational safety department. Thus, the measures and regulations of occupational safety should be handled with a great deal of seriousness and respect, since it is about protecting the company's greatest value, the people. Looking at a broader picture of the operating system, it is of utmost importance to us to provide adequate conditions to people in order to protect their health and extend their life span. Likewise, through processes such as fire protection, ventilation, transport routes and forklift and pallet storage, I explain how and in what way the safety and security department has influence and what the consequences are if we do not follow these procedures. Finally, through the discussion, we go through the ways in which production itself could be raised to a higher level in terms of occupational safety, that is, how the job of workers could be made easier and protected in terms of injuries and health.
