In this paper, the first part focuses on the description of stump removal attachments. The attachments are connected to the tractor using a three-point linkage system, which also controls their operation. Each of the attachments is described in terms of its main components and the method it employs to remove stumps. The first section describes the different root systems, as it is crucial to accurately determine the extraction force, which forms the basis for designing the rest of the attachment. By studying the various root systems, a better understanding of the issue is achieved, leading to improved and facilitated extraction methods. The design is carried out to meet the most challenging form of extraction, namely vertical extraction, which imposes the greatest stress on the structure. The design solution should be as simple as possible to allow for easy operation. The implemented control system reduces stress and facilitates the extraction process. All the necessary components for implementation are described, along with the required specifications for calculation and construction. The aim is to incorporate as many standard parts as possible to minimize manufacturing costs. Critical parts of the attachment will undergo necessary calculations, and a finite element analysis using the ANSYS software will be conducted. The FluidSIM program will be employed for hydraulic schematics. The concept development will involve the creation of a 3D model using the online software system ONSHAPE, along with accompanying documentation.
